I just saw this post on the Swann Auction Galleries site – A lot of pictures have been successfully auctioned off including works by the artists I have listed on my site.
Quoted from their site: “A run of unique works outperformed their estimates in our auction of 19th & 20th Century Prints & Drawings on Tuesday, September 19, with originals such as Lyonel Feininger’s 1954 watercolor Space, which reached $47,500, and a Diego Rivera portrait of Ralph Stackpole that brought $40,000. The top lot of the sale was a scarce lithograph by Pablo Picasso titled Françoise sur fond gris, 1950, which sold for $125,000. At least six longstanding records were broken for prints by marquee artists including Georges Braque, Henri Matisse and Yves Tanguy.”
